BRFSS reports reveal important findings on PCEs
Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) are surveys conducted by each U.S. state with support of the CDC. Researchers call homes and ask adults questions about their demography, their current health and wel-being, and their childhood.
An increasing number of states, including California, Montana, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, have added positive childhood experiences (PCEs) questions in their BRFSS questionnaire leading to important research and findings on the impact of PCEs on health.
