Preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences and promoting positive childhood experiences
In collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the HOPE National Resource Center engaged in a CDC-supported project aimed at preventing adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and promoting positive childhood experiences (PCEs). The project was a cooperative agreement with two primary goals: (1) to build a state-level surveillance infrastructure that ensures the capacity to collect, analyze, and use ACE and PCE data to inform statewide activities; and (2) to support the implementation of PCE promotion and ACE prevention activities statewide. As a part of the project, the project team conducted trainings at different levels for relevant stakeholders including Introduction to HOPE, Train the Facilitator, and HOPE Champions trainings.
