Creating community service learning course on the HOPE framework

Supported by an Innovations in Education Intramural Grant from the Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM), the HOPE National Resource Center collaborated with the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center and Asian Women for Health to incorporate the HOPE framework into the TUSM Community Service Learning (CSL) course. The project team created an online module and a toolkit to guide peer-led small group meetings which presented the research supporting the importance of positive childhood experiences (PCEs). The curriculum includes examples of incorporating HOPE into practice to lessen conscious and unconscious bias.
