Getting started with HOPE as an organization

Influence organizational-wide impact through the HOPE framework

Research shows that positive childhood experiences (PCEs) help children grow into healthy, resilient adults. The HOPE National Resource Center created the strength-based HOPE framework that helps organizations and professionals support children and families by prioritizing the promotion of their access to PCEs. The center of the HOPE framework is the Four Building Blocks of HOPE, the key types of positive childhood experiences that all children need to thrive.

The HOPE National Resource Center, our 300+ certified trainers from around the word, and our partners work with organizations and professionals working in daycares and schools to child welfare, juvenile justice, public health, and healthcare systems (and everyone in between). In adopting the HOPE framework to make changes to practices, policies, and programming at your organization, you are joining us in creating a brighter world where we can consistently identify, honor, and promote child and family strengths through PCEs.

How can I start implementing HOPE?

1

Start with an Introduction to HOPE

You can do this by contacting us for a presentation or workshop training, completing our online courses as a team, or finding a local HOPE trainer.

2

Dive deeper into advanced HOPE trainings

Now that your team understands the basics of the HOPE framework, you can opt into deeper level trainings including our HOPE Train the Facilitator and Champion Certification programs.

3

Transform your organization with the HOPE-Informed Certification

As you transform your HOPE trainings into practice within your organization, you may want to consider the HOPE-Informed Organizational Certification. We have unique paths for direct service organizations, funders, and organizations who do not work directly with children and families.
