Getting started with HOPE as an individual

Uplift children and families through the HOPE framework

Research shows that positive childhood experiences (PCEs) help children grow into healthy, resilient adults. The HOPE National Resource Center created the strength-based HOPE framework that helps professionals support the children and families they serve by prioritizing the promotion of access to PCEs for every child. The center of the HOPE framework is the Four Building Blocks of HOPE, the key types of positive childhood experiences that all children need to thrive.

The HOPE National Resource Center offers trainings, resources, and research centered around the HOPE framework and PCEs including our HOPE Train the Facilitator Certification training specifically designed for direct service providers. We work with professionals working in daycares and schools to child welfare, juvenile justice, public health, and healthcare systems (and everyone in between). By adopting the HOPE framework in your interactions with the children and families you service, you are shaping a brighter world where we can consistently identify, honor, and promote child and family strengths through PCEs.
