2024 Week of HOPE Schedule
This year, we hosted our Annual Week of HOPE from March 18-22, 2024. During the Week of HOPE, we hosted events and shared new resources that honor and promote the widespread use of positive childhood experiences.
Anti-Racism Training
Monday, March 18 | 2 PM ET
We kick off the Week of HOPE with a new anti-racism training. This training has been developed in partnership with Strengthening Families and a member from our Family and Community Experts of HOPE Council. This training dives deep into an Anti-racist practice and discusses the intersections of the HOPE framework and Strengthening Families. You will have a better idea of what racism is and can look like in health care settings, and how to intentionally practice and imbed Anti-racism in these settings. New Model | Anti-Racism Model Reveal Press Conference

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, awarded FAAITH, a new Trenton-based NGO, Tufts Medical Center, and the Shiloh Community Development Corporation a one-year planning grant to expand a congregationally based, faith-infused home visiting program to address racial disparities and inequities. The project, FAAITH and HOPE for equitable systems alignment, supports Reverend Darrell Armstrong, Founder of FAAITH and Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, and his efforts to integrate the HOPE framework into his ministry work and that of other faith leaders. Now at the end of this project, we will share a new anti-racism model developed from this project. Join the press conference to hear more about the new model and the findings from this project. HOPE Awards Ceremony – Presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

Halfway through the Week of HOPE, we will host the HOPE Awards Ceremony to recognize individuals and organizations who excel in promoting the Four Building Blocks of HOPE. We asked members of the HOPE community to nominate an individual or organization for one of the Building Blocks. Nominations are now closed. In the nominations, folks shared stories of their nominees dedication to promoting and practicing positive childhood experiences. This event is to honor those who have made a positive impact, fostering a culture of growth, support, and excellence.
Children’s Book Character Reveal – Presented by the Red Sox Foundation
Thursday, March 21 | 11 AM ET
Later this year, we will release a new children’s book called Clover’s Hopeful Day. During the Week of HOPE, we will reveal each of the characters featured in this book. The illustrations are being drawn by a group of youth located in Portland, Oregon. We are excited to showcase our partnership with the young illustrators and have our story come to life through their artistic interpretations. These characters will be shared through the HOPE website, our social media, and on the HOPE Summit platform.
HOPE Innovation Network Mini Summit
Friday, March 22 | 2 PM ET
This private session will be held for all previous cohort members of the HOPE Innovation Network (HIN). HIN organizations will share short presentations on their implementation process of the HOPE framework. Each organization will discuss changes to their organizational practices, barriers they experienced, and how they overcame those barriers. We are excited to hear how the implementation process has been going.
